After doing some research it seems that there are no stainless steel water bottles made in America. Klean Kanteen and Earthlust, two of the most popular brands, and almost all of the off-name brands are made in China. Aside from the fact that I loath the idea of supporting Chinese trade due to their completely inadequate environmental practices and deplorable human rights record, I do not trust drinking out of a Chinese-made metal container – not after the recent lead poisoning incidents with so many Chinese products.

So after quite a bit of reading I did find a Swiss-made stainless steal water bottle. The company is called Sigg. Products can be found here:
